The PWP Japan strategy launched in 1999, post bubble broad market opportunity set representing excellent value . The fund looks to invest in Japan and Korea while adhering to Platinum’s investment approach: seeks neglect, index agnostic, seeks to protect capital. The fund aims to provide capital growth over the long-term (generally 5 to 7 years) through investing 50% to 100% of the fund’s net asset value in undervalued securities. The fund may invest up to 25% of its net asset value in the securities of South Korean companies.
