Fund Objective

The Fund’s investment policy is based on a ‘core-satellite’ investment thesis seeking to achieve its investment objective through investing in individual securities (fixed income securities, money market instruments, cash and cash equivalents) as well as shares/units of collective investment schemes permitted under the UCITS Regulations. The core may have exposure to investment grade and non-investment grade, fixed and floating rate, fixed income instruments (whether senior secured debt, senior unsecured, subordinated debt or high yield) in order to capture returns generated by global fixed income markets. In addition the core may invest in developed market and emerging market government bonds, mortgage backed securities, covered bonds and corporate
bonds with a focus on identifying mispriced idiosyncratic risk. The Sub-Fund will aim to reduce the overall interest rate risk exposure of the portfolio through its investments in absolute return strategies and maintain a low correlation to traditional fixed income indices. The result is a highly diversified portfolio of fixed income securities, rates and credit strategies that targets superior net returns with volatility 2.5-3.5% per annum.
