Investment Objective
The BlackRock Emerging Markets Absolute Return Fund will seek to generate a positive absolute return regardless of market conditions through investment in emerging market equities and equity related securities. The Fund will seek to achieve this investment objective by taking long, synthetic long and synthetic short investment exposures. The Fund will seek to gain at least 70% of its investment exposure to companies domiciled in, or exercising the predominant part of their economic activity in emerging markets.
