Investment Objective
Electron invests in global utilities and infrastructure companies in U.S., Europe, Asia and Latin America. The strategy focuses on identifying and modelling the financial impacts of structural changes affecting the utilities and infrastructure sectors, believing that these developments offer the best opportunities for capturing alpha as they impact future earnings differently. While they employ a top down perspective on structural changes, all investments are based on their deep fundamental research of the companies affected by these changes. Electron will allocate capital dynamically to take advantage of the inefficiencies created by structural change. Ultimately, the fund’s investment objective is to seek to achieve an absolute return by investing primarily in equity and equity-related securities of companies active in the infrastructure and global utility sector.
